I guess it’s very difficult to get the alignment and spacing dead perfect. This rig demonstrates the principles involved very nicely and probably goes on longer than most (nearly a minute earlier today). It’s an elegant rig and quite sturdy. You’ll likely have to use a mallet to knock the supports into the slightly undersized holes but this is better than having the cradle loosen up after a while
